Caravan Group Actively Partakes

Written By NAFSO on Friday, December 02, 2005 | 8:46:00 AM

It is not easy to travel around the country continuously for 15 days, but it is not a problem for our caravan group. The sacrifices and the commitment that they have made so far cannot be measured and explained in words. In spite of all the troubles and hardships, the caravan journey runs very smoothly by reaping valuable experiences and bringing justice and sovereinity to the tsunami victims.
Today the caravan is at Trincolamee and had started their activities at 12 O’ clock. The main seminar and the street drama had performed together at the Jayasumnaramaya Temple at Sumedagama. There were 50-60 fisher men and women including the people who had come to see the street dramas. The women gathered there came out with so many petitions & problems and the caravan group noted all of their pleas in writing. According to what we heard today that caravan activities had been calmly done. Tomorrow they will be going to Polonnaru for successful caravan session.
