Budget for 2013 is a gift to the fishers on the world fisheries day - Fisheries Minister

During the (governmental) world fisheries day commemoration  fisheries minister have mentioned that budget proposals for 2013 are the greatest gift received by  fishers in Sri Lanka. It has allocate 2000 Million rupees for development of fisheries harbours, anchorages  and landing sights.
But small scale fishers are accusing the government that fishing equipments prices have increased prior to the budget speech and also boat building materials and engine prices are too high for them.Government have cut the tax for racing cars, so we can watch the car races instead of  going for fishing and die hunger.
