Thousands of Illegal Construction around the coastal belt

There are about 1200 illegal constructions like Hotels, guest houses, parapet walls around the coastal belt in Sri Lanka says coastal conservation department. Further, Mr Anil Premarathne, Director of CCD has mentioned that government spends about 20 million per year to remove these constructions. (Lakbima - 2013.06.09)
