.: Street Campaign at Chilaw

Street campaign to aware communities targeting presidential election on 8th January, were conducted in Chilaw at the morning hours today. (3rd Jan)

Police disturbance caused during the campaign was the only obstacle. People enthusiastically participated and event complete successfully.

Police prevented the distribution on news paper which included articles on present governments' miss use of power. And also they ordered to stop the use of mega phones stating that it is breaking of civil law. Later campaigners stop the use of audio equipments but continued the campaign and completed successfully.
