12th, 13th the National Coordinator for the POLICY & LOBBY ACTIVITIES Mr. Nalaka Rosiro organized a SPECIAL discussion on the Policy Framework. The district policy committee gathered at the sanhidiyawa to draft the new policy framework He had pointed out an importance of the POLICY & LOBBY ACTIVITIES to all the districts committee members of NAFSO. After discussing with all the policy members we could come to a decision to prepare a new policy. From this activity we have realized that we need a national policy to continue our movement further more being a NGO in the world. Each partner organizing members in NAFSO collect information from fisher people or any other members through out the island and we draft a new policy with our ideas.
