Black Resist - on 10th July

Civil Society organising a black resisting day against giving nomination for former president Mahind Rajapaksha to contest for the forthcomming parliamentary election from United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) party. 
Protest will commence on 10th of July, starting from 2.00PM and begin from Technical Junction of Pettah. 
Civil Organisations and many political parties work together to defeat MR during the presidencial election held in January 2015 and now he expects to contest under the UPFA party as group leader. Civil society considering it as a threat to the win had during the January election by selecting Maithripala Sirisena as the President of the country.
