Let us build an organic garden
Uva Wellassa Women Organization conducted a training program for the youth members related to organic farming under the theme of “healthy garden without poison” at the center of the organization on 19 of July 2020 in Monaragala. There were 18 male and female youth in the training program. Practical knowledge was given to the youth to develop organic home garden. Making organic manure, making organic pesticide, preparing land for farming and maintaining healthy plants were the main areas of the training. Mrs.S.A.Samarasingha of Uva Wellassa Women Organization participated as the resource person.
