Jaffna district Fisheries Solidarity Organization conducted an awareness program with Theniyman village women Related  ILO and Blue economy. There were 20 participants attended and discussed, The Blue Economy: Whither the SSF in Sri Lanka. 

Inpam Muraly district coordinator said “Infra structure development is one of the main components of BE Program. The construction of PointPedro harbor will be one among them which will be benefitted the big businesses even Sri Lankan fishing vessels will not have space in it. Most of the vessels would be owned by foreign companies and will deprive our SSF.”
