Praja Sahayogitha Sansadaya at Polpithigama, Kurunegala launched the Small Scale Self Sufficient Food Producer Units among women in Ponnilawa Dematawa provided 10 Beehive Boxes as a part of the program.Sanjeewa Sampath, the program Coordinator of the organization said, “this is one of our small effort to overcome #food crisis, #food soaring prices and #rural poverty amidst #COVID19. We launch this as an experimental basis and monitor the success to replicate this in other villages.”Ajith Rupasinghe the Coordinator of the organization and Regional agriculture officer of Polpithigama area were also addressed the women’s group.
