The members of the Ampara District Fishermen's Trade Union, led by its members, handed over a letter to Mr. Sandaruwan Anuruddha, the Pothuvil District Secretary of Ampara District, regarding the fishing problems faced by fishermen in Ampara District, at the Ampara District Secretariat on Tuesday, August 02, 2022. Here, he was informed about the problems faced by the fishermen such as lack of fuel and clean water.
A copy of this letter was forwarded to the Minister of Fisheries, to the Secretary of the Ministry of Power, to the Government District Chairman and to the Maritime District Officer.
Mr. Jamaldeen, the President of the National Trade Union Movement, Mr. A. Mafa, Advisor of the Ampara District Fishermen's Trade Union, Mr. Nisar of the Ampara Fishermen's Trade Union and a group of other members, and Mr. Isaidin, the Ampara District Coordinator also participated in this event. He said that the solutions for the problems presented by the fishermen will be implemented promptly and the livelihood of the fishermen will also be ensured for him.
අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිති නිලධාරීන් ප්‍රමුඛ එහි සාමාජිකයින් විසින් අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ පොතුවිල් දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම්වරයා වන සඳරුවන් අනුරුද්ධ මහතා වෙත අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ධීවරයින් මුහුණ දෙන ධීවර ගැටලු සම්බන්ධයෙන් ලිපියක් බාර දීම අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේදී 2022 අගෝස්තු මස 02 අඟහරුවාදා දින සිදු කරන ලදී. මෙහිදි ධීවරයින් අද වන විට මුහුණ දෙන ඉන්ධන හිඟය, පිරිසිදු ජලය ආදී ගැටලු පිළිබඳව ඒ මහතා දැනුවත් කරන ලදී. මෙම ලිපියේ පිටපතක් ධීවර අමාත්‍යවරයා වෙත ද බල ශක්ති අමාත්‍යාංශ ලේකම්වරයා වෙත ද රජයේ දිස්ත්‍රික් සභාපතිවරයා වෙත ද සමුද්‍රීය දිස්ත්‍රික් නිලධාරිය වෙත ද යොමු කරන ලදී.
මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා ජාතික වෘත්තීය සමිති ව්‍යාපාරයේ සභාපතිවරයා ජමල්ඩීන් මහතා ද අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිතියේ උපදේශක ඒ මාෆා මහතා ද අම්පාර ධීවර වෘත්තීය සමිතියේ නිසාර් මහතා සහ තවත් සාමාජිකයින් පිරිසක් ද අම්පාර දිස්ත්‍රික් සම්බන්ධිකාරක ඉසයිඩීන් මහතා ද සහභාගි වූහ. මෙහිදි ධීවරයින් විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කළ ගැටලු සඳහා විසඳුම් කඩිනමින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන බව පැවසීමත් ධීවරයින්ගේ ජිවනෝපාය ද සහතික කරන බවත් ඒ මහතා සඳහා කළේ ය.
அம்பாறை மாவட்ட மீனவ தொழிலாளர் சபை அதிகாரிகள் உட்பட அங்கத்தவர்கள் மூலம் அம்பாறை மாவட்ட பொத்துவில் மாவட்ட செயலாளரான திரு. சந்தருவன் அனுருந்த அவர்களுக்கு மேற்குறிப்பிட்ட விடயம தொhடர்பாக ஓர் ஆவணம் 02.08.2022ம் திகதி அம்பாறை மாவட்ட செயலாளர் செயலகத்தில் பெற்றுக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது, மீனவர்கள் முகம் கொடுக்கும் எரிபொருள், சுத்தமான நீர் போன்ற பிரச்சினைகள் தொடர்பாக அவரை அறிவுறுத்தப்பட்டது. இந்த கடிதத்தின் பிரதிகள் மீனவ அமைச்சருக்கும் மின்சக்தி அமைச்சின் செயலாளருக்கும் அரச மாவட்ட தலைவருக்கும் சமுத்திர மாவட்ட அதிகாரிக்கும் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டது.
இந்த சந்தர்ப்பத்தில் தேசிய தொழிற்சங்க இயக்கத்தின் தலைவர் திரு. ஜமால்டீன், அம்பாறை மாவட்ட மீனவ தொழிற்சங்கத்தின் ஆலோசகர் திரு. மாபா, அம்பாறை மீனவ தொழிற்சங்கத்தின் திரு. நிசார், மற்றும் ஏனைய அங்கத்தவர்கள், அம்பாறை மாவட்ட இணைப்பாளர் திரு. இஸடீன் ஆகியோர் கலந்துக் கொண்டனர். இங்கு மீனவர்கள் மூலம் முன்வைக்கப்பட்ட பிரச்சினைகள் தொடர்பாக தீர்வுகளை துரிதமாக செயற்படுத்துவதாகவும் மீனவர்களின் வாழ்வாதாரத்தை உறுதிபடுத்துவதாகவும் அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
