A Training workshop on the use of social media for promoting social harmony and Community Development was conducted for the youth groups attached to the Jaffna District Fisheries Solidarity Movement on the 10th and 11th of August 2022 in Jaffna. The purpose of this training workshop was to discuss the importance of social media such as Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, TikTok, and Twitter, and how to use of these media for social development activities.
NAFSO ongoing programs such as food safety, environmental protection, reducing the use of plastic, the social damage caused by the drug menace, were taken into consideration and the use of social media to promote such activities was discussed.
Even during current socio-political issues, the use of social media in a manner that protects social harmony and the rights of community groups was widely discussed at the training. Selected Youth groups were given the responsibility of updating various social media regularly.
Mr. Gayan Abeygoda Mr. Nalaka Rosairo of the NAFSO and Mr. Suresh of Janawababodha Center were the facilitators for this training workshop.

යාපනය දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ තරුණ තරුණියන් සඳහා දියත් කළ සමාජ මාධ්‍ය පුහුණු 2022 අගෝස්තු මස 10 සහ 11 වන දෙදින පුරා පැවැත්විණි. මෙම සමාජ මාධ්‍ය පුහුණුවේදී මුහුණු පොත යුටියුබ් (YouTube) වස්ට්ඇප් (Whats App) ටික්ටොක් (TikTok) ටුවිටර් (Twitter) යන සමාජ මාධ්‍ය පිළිබඳවත් ආහාර සුරක්‍ෂිතතාවය, පරිසරය යටතේ ප්ලාස්ටික් භාවිතය පිළිබඳවත්, මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය උවදුර, සමාජ මාධ්‍ය යටතේ ක්‍රිඩා සඳහා ඇලි ගැලි සිටීම, සමාජ දේශපාලන ගැටලු සමාජය සන්හිඳියාව කණ්ඩායම්වල අයිතිවාසිකම් යනාදිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාකච්ඡා කරන ලදී. මෙම අවස්ථාවේ ඉහත සඳහන් සමාජ මාධ්‍ය නිරන්තරයෙන් යාවත්කාලීන කිරීම කණ්ඩායම් වෙන් වෙන්වශයෙන් වගගීම් භාර ගන්නා ලදී. මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා ජාතික ධිවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ ගයාන් අබේගොඩ මහතා ද නාලක රොසයිරෝ මහතා සුරේෂ් යන මහත්වරුන් මෙහෙයවීම් කරන ලදහ.
மேல் குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட நிகழ்வு மேற்கூறப்பட்ட இரண்டு நாட்களில் நடைபெற்றது. இந்த சமூக ஊடக பயிற்சியில் முகநூல், யூடியுப் (லழர வுரடிந) றூயவள யுpp, டிக்டொக், டுவிடர் ஆகிய சமூக ஊடகம் தொடர்பாகவும் உணவு பாதுகாப்பு, சுற்றாடல் அடிப்படையில் பிளாஸ்டிக் பாவனை தொடர்பாகவும் போதைப்பொருள் பிரச்சினை சமூக ஊடக விளையாட்டுகளில் ஈடுபட்டிருத்தல் சமூக அரசியல் பிரச்சினைகள் சமூக நல்லிணக்க குழுக்களளின் உரிமை தொடர்பாக கலந்துரையாடப்பட்டது. மேற் கூறப்பட்ட சமூக ஊடகம் அடிக்கடி இற்றைப்படுத்துதல் குழுக்கள் வெவ்வேறாக பொறுப்பை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டனர். இந்த நிகழ்வை தேசிய மீனவ ஒத்துழைப்பு இயக்கத்தின் திரு. கயான் அம்பேகொட, திரு. நாலக ரொசைரோ ஜனஅவபோத நிலையத்தின் திரு. சுரேஸ் நடைமுறைபடுத்தினர்.
