Under the Mission Inclusion project implemented by the women's Section of the National Fisheries Solidarity Movement, interventions were made to uplift the livelihoods of women householders in seven villages such as Hijjapuram, Nayaru, Silavathailai, Mullivaikkal, Kokilai, Kepapilav and Kumana Munai etc of the Mullaitivu District Fisheries Solidarity Movement.

The primary objective of this program is to uplift the livelihood of housewives by encouraging women to become self-employed.

Accordingly, on Monday, January 23, 2023, the current situation of the women who were helped to improve their livelihoods through the above project was monitored and evaluated in seven villages of Mullaitivu District.

Ms Lavina Hasanti, coordinator of the women's section of the National Fisheries Solidarity Movement, Mr. Anthony Jesudasan, coordinator of the dialogue between people for peace and sustainable development, journalist Miss Melanie Manel, and Ms Sujatha, coordinator of Ampara district were involved in this monitoring and evaluation process.

During this monitoring and evaluation process, a fisherwoman engaged in the fishing industry in the Nayaru lagoon of Mullaitivu district, who benefited under the Mission Inclusion project for the fishing industry, has strengthened her fishing career by receiving the necessary help to continue her livelihood under the Mission Inclusion project. She said she is very happy about her occupation now.

Apart from that, she has achieved huge progress in the production of dry fish production with the help of the Mission Inclusion project. Although her husband is disabled, she believes that her involvement in this industry has helped her economy.

A woman involved in food production is given the necessary equipment and raw materials to build her economy and she earns about 1200 rupees per day and has been able to earn a huge amount of 27000 rupees monthly under the Mission Inclusion project.

 ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාන්තා අංශය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන Mission Inclusion ව්‍යාපෘතියය යටතේ මුලතිව් දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ හිජ්ජාපුරම්, නායාරු, සිලාවත්තෛලයි, මුල්ලිවයික්කාල්, කෝකිලායි, කේපාපිලව් සහ කුමන මුනෛයි ආදී ගම්මාන හතක ගෘහමූලික කාන්තාවන්ගේ ජීවන මාර්ග නගා සිටුවීම සඳහා මැදිහත්වීම් සිදු කරන ලදී. කාන්තාවන්ට ස්වයං රැකියා සඳහා අත හිත දෙමින් ගෘහමූලික කාන්තාවන්ගේ ජීවන මාර්ගය නගා සිටුවීම මෙහි මූලික අරමුණ වේ. ඒ අනුව 2023 ජනවාරි මස 23 වන සඳුදා දින ඉහත ව්‍යාපෘතිය තුළින් ස්වකීය ජිවන මාර්ග නගා සිටුවීමට උදව් උපකාර ලබා දුන් කාන්තාවන්ගේ වත්මන් තත්ත්වය අධීක්‍ෂණයට හා ඇගයීමට ලක් කිරීම මුලතිව් දිස්ක්‍රික්කයේ ගම්මාන හතක කේන්ද්‍ර කර ගනිමින් සිදු විය. ධීවර කර්මාන්තය, සත්ත්ව පාලනය යටතේ කුකුළුන් ඇති කිරීම, කරවල වේලීම, පොරි නිෂ්පාදනය, උදේ ආහාර නිෂ්පාදනය යන ස්වයං රැකියා අත හිත ලබා දෙන ලදී.

මෙම අධීක්‍ෂණ හා ඇගයීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය සඳහා ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාන්තා අංශයේ සම්බන්ධිකාරිනි ලවීනා හසන්ති මහත්මිය සාමය හා තිරසර සංවර්ධනය සඳහා වු ජනතා අතර සංවාදයේ සම්බන්ධිකාරක ඇන්තනී ජේසුදාසන් මහතා ද මාධ්‍යවේදී මෙලනි මානෙල් මෙනවිය ද මුලතිව් දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ සජීවිකා සුජාතා මහත්මිය සම්බන්ධ වූහ. මෙම අධීක්‍ෂණ හා ඇගයීම් ක්‍රියාවලියේදී ධීවර කර්මාන්තය සඳහා Mission Inclusion ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ ප්‍රතිලාභ ලබා ගත් මුලතිව් දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ නයාරු කලපුවේ ධීවර කර්මාන්තයේ යෙදෙන ධීවර කාන්තාවක් ඇය ඇයගේ ජීවිකාව සිදු කරගෙන යෑමට අවශ්‍ය උදව් උපකාර Mission Inclusion ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ ලබා දීම තුළින් ඇයගේ ධීවර වෘත්තිය ශක්තිමත් වී අද වන විට සමෘද්ධිමත් තත්ත්වයට පත් ව ඇති බව පවසන්නේ ඉතාමත් සන්තෝෂයෙනි. ධීවර කාන්තාවක් වීම ඇය ඇත්තේ ඉමහත් සන්තෝෂයකි. ඇතැම් අවස්ථාවලදී ධීවර කාන්තාවක් වීම අභාග්‍යයක් ලෙස දකින් මෙවන් වපසරියක ඇය කාන්තාවක ලෙස ධීවර කර්මාන්තයේ නියැලීම ඇයට සන්තෝෂයකි. එපමණක් නොව, Mission Inclusion ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ ප්‍රතිලාභ ලබා ගත් ජයශ්‍රිලි කරවල නිෂ්පාදනයෙන් ඇය දැවැන්ත චරියක් වී ඇත. ඇයගේ ස්වාමිපුරුෂයා ආබාධිත තත්ත්වයේ පසුවුවත් එය ශක්තියක් කරගෙන මෙම කර්මාන්තයේ ඇය නියැලීම ඇයගේ ආර්ථිකයට මනා පිටුවහලක් වු බව ඇයගේ අදහසයි. උදේ ආහාර නිෂ්පාදනය විශේෂයෙන් ආප්ප නිෂ්පාදනයේ යෙදෙන කාන්තාවකට කිසිදු වෘත්තීයක යෙදී නොසිටි කාන්තාවකට සිය ආර්ථිකය ගොඩනගා ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය උපකරණ හා අමුද්‍රව්‍ය ලබා දී ඇය දිනයකට රුපියල් 1200 පමණ මුදලක් උපයන අතර මාසිකව රුපියල් 27000 වැනි විශාල මුදලක් ඉපැයීමට Mission Inclusion ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ හැකි වී ඇත.

முல்லைத்தீவு மாவட்ட மீனவ ஒத்துழைப்பு இயக்கத்தில் ஹிஜ்ராபுரம,; நாயாறு, சிலாவத்தை, முல்லிவைக்கால், கோகிலாய், கேபாபிலவு, குமனமுனை ஆகிய 7 கிராமங்களில் குடும்ப தலைமைத்துவ பெண்களின் வாழ்கைவழியை கட்டியெழுப்புதல் தொடர்பாக ஈடுபடப்பட்டது. பெண்களின் சுயதொழில்களுக்கு உதவி செய்தல் இதன் அடிப்படை நோக்கமாகும். அதன்படி 2023 தை 23ம் திகதி இந்த கருத்திட்டத்தில் உதவி பெற்ற பெண்களின் தற்போதைய நிலமையை கண்காணித்தல் மற்றும் மீளாய்வு முல்லைத்தீவு மாவட்டத்தின் எழு கிராமங்களை மையமாக கொண்டு நடைபெற்றது. மீன்பிடித்தொழில், கோழிவளர்ப்பு, கருவாடு பதனிடுதல், பொரி உற்பத்தி, காலை உணவு தயாரிப்பு தொடர்பாக உதவி செய்யப்பட்டது.
