Valarpirai District Women's Committee was held on Tuesday 18th April 2023 at the Mannar District Fisheries Cooperative Business Office. The District Women's Committee was held based on 05 main objectives.

Discussions were held regarding how the Northern Province United Women's Federation has intervened since 2019 regarding the women experience due to 30-year war in five districts of the Northern Province, especially Mannar, Mullaitivu, Vavuniya and Kilinochchi.
The role played by the Northern Province United Women's Federation was discussed here. It was discussed how the contribution was made and how the responsible officials will be informed about the social media campaign and the responsibility in this regard was given to Ms. Priyantha of Mannar district and the coordinator Mr. Benedick Cruz.
For the years 2023 and 2024, the Valarpirai District Women's Committee prepared a road map.
The operation of the road map was discussed in depth at the meeting.
For this Valarpirai District Women's Committee discussion, Mr. Anthony Jesudasan, Program Coordinator of National Fisheries Solidarity Movement and Ms. Lavina Hasanti, Coordinator of Women's Affairs, advised and provided necessary guidance. 10 women kayakers from the District Women's Committee participated in this event.

වලර්පිරෛ දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා කමිටුව 2023 අප්‍රියෙල් මස 18 වන අඟහරුවාදා දින මන්නාරම් දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාර කාර්යාලයේදී පැවැත්වු අතර මෙහිදි ප්‍රධාන අරමුණු 05 පදනම් කරගෙන දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා කමිටුව පවත්වන ලදී. 2020 වර්ෂයේ සිට 2023 වර්ෂය දක්වා වලර්පිරෛ දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා කමිටුවක් ලෙස ක්‍රියාත්මක කළ වැඩසටහන් හා ක්‍රියාකාරකම් මොනවාද එයින් ලද ජයග්‍රහණ සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාකච්ඡා කළහ. වලර්පිරෛ දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා කමිටුව තොරතුරු දැනගැනීමේ අයිතිය පදනම් කරගෙන ලබා ගත් ලියකියවිලි මොනවාද එයින් ලද පිළිතුරු මොනවාද යන්න දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් හා ප්‍රාදේශීය ලේකම් වෙත ලබා දුන් පෙත්සම් හා ඒ වෙනුවෙන් ලැබුණු පිළිතුරු මොනවාද යන්න සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා විය. තෙවන කරුණ ලෙස ධීවර ගැටලු ආමන්ත්‍රණය කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් වලර්පිරෛ දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා කමිටුවක් ලෙස ගෙන ඇති පියවර මොනවාද යන්න සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා විය. උතුරු පළාත් දිස්ත්‍රික්ක පහක විශේෂයෙන් මන්නාරම, මුලතිව්, වවුනියාව සහ කිලිනොච්චි වසර 30 පුරා පැවැති යුද්ධයෙන් කාන්තාවන් මුහුණු දෙන සම්බන්ධයෙන් උතුරු පළාත් එක්සත් කාන්තා සම්මේලනය 2019 වර්ෂයේ සිට මැදිහත් වු ආකාරය කාන්තාවන්ගේ මැදිහත්වීම කෙබඳු ද යන්න මේ දක්වා සම්බන්ධයෙන් හා මේ දක්වා විශාල වැඩසටහන් ඉටු කළ ආකාරය සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාකච්ඡා කරන ලදී. උතුරු පළාත් එක්සත් කාන්තා සම්මේලනය ලෙස ඉටු කළ කාර්යභාර්ය සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා කරන ලදී. ඒ සඳහා දැක්වු දායකත්වය කෙසේද ඒ සඳහා සමාජ මාධ්‍ය ප්‍රචාරණය කෙබඳු යන්න සම්බන්ධයෙන් ද වගකිව යුතු නිලධාරීන් දැනුවත් කරනු ලබන්නේ කෙසේද යන්න සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා කරන ලද අතර ඒ සම්බන්ධයෙන් වන වගකීම මන්නාරම් දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ප්‍රියන්තා මහත්මියට සහ සම්බන්ධිකාරක බෙනඩික් කෲස් මහතාට බාර විය. තවද 2023 හා 2024 යන වර්ෂ සඳහා වලර්පිරෛ දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා කමිටුව මාර්ග සිතියමක් සකස් කරන ලදී. එම මාර්ග සිතියමේ ක්‍රියාකාරිත්වය සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි ගැඹුරින් සාකච්ඡා කරන ලදී. මෙම වලර්පිරෛ දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා කමිටුව සාකච්ඡාව සඳහා ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ වැඩසටහන් සම්බන්ධිකාරක ඇන්තනි ජේසුදාසන් මහතා හා කාන්තා කටයුතු සම්බන්ධිකාරිනි ලවීනා හසන්ති මහත්මිය උපදෙස් දීම හා අවැසි මඟපෙන්වීම් සිදු කරන ලදී. මෙම අවස්ථාවට දිස්ත්‍රික් කාන්තා කමිටුවේ කාන්තා කයිකාවන් 10 දෙනෙකු සහභාගි වූහ.
