The National Fisheries Solidary Movement conducted a discussion on 15th of March 2023 at National Fisheries Auditorium in Negombo collaborating with several civil society organizations based in the Northern Province and Southern Province under the theme of "National Dialogue among CSOs on issues of the fisheries community in Northern- Sri Lanka". The discussion mainly focuses on illegal fishing by Indian trawlers violating the maritime boundary of Sri Lanka and how it socially and economically impact for the fisheries industry in Sri Lanka. As well as the discussion review regarding land issues, poor mechanisms of resettlement, and the rehabilitation process of war victims who are engaging the fisheries industry and addressing the barriers and constraints to women’s economic empowerment in the industry of fisheries. The suggestion of the discussion was to take action if the decided license scheme option will be enacted for Indian fishermen by Sri Lankan government as per the said date on 23rd of March under the support of all the fisheries civil society organizations and the general public. උතුරේ ධීවර ප්‍රජාව මුහුණ දෙන ගැටලු පිළිබඳව සිවිල් සංවිධාන අතර ජාතික සංවාදය ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ පුහුණු මධඨස්ථානයේදී 2023 මාර්තු මස 15 බදාදා දින පැවැත්වූහ. මෙම කාලීන සංවාදය උතුරු නැගෙනහිර ධීවර නායකයින් සහ දකුණු සිවිල් සංවිධාන නායකත්වයෙන් මෙම සංවාදය සිදු කරන ලදී. මෙම අවස්ථාවේදී උතුරේ ධීවරයින් මුහුණ දෙන ප්‍රබල ගැටලු අතර ඉන්දියන් ට්‍රෝලින් ගැටලුව, තහනම් පන්න භාවිතයෙන් මසුන් ඇල්ලීම, මුහුදු කූඩැල්ලන් ව්‍යපෘතිය නිසා උද්ගත වී ඇති තත්ත්වය, ධීවරයින් අතර අන්‍යෝන්‍ය වශයෙන් ඇති වන ගැටලු නිසා මුහුද තුළ ප්‍රචණ්ඩ තත්ත්වයක් ඇති වීම, ධීවර කාන්තාවන්ගේ ආර්ථික, සාමාජිය, සංස්කෘතිමක වශයෙන් මුහුණ දෙන ඉන්දියන් ට්‍රෝලින් ආක්‍රමණය නිසා තවදුරටත් වර්ධනය වීම, ඉන්දියානු ට්‍රෝලර් ආක්‍රමණය නිසා මෙරට ධීවර සම්පත් විනාශ වීම නිසා එය ආර්ථික ගැටලුවකට මෙන් ම දේශපාලන ගැටලුවක් දක්වා වර්ධනය වීම, මෙම ගැටලු අරභයා රාජ්‍යතාන්ත්‍රික මැදිහත් වීම ඉතාම අවම මට්ටමක පැවතීම ආදී කරණු කාරණා සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි අවධානය යොමු විය. මෙම ගැටලු සඳහා ගත හැකි යථාර්ථවාදි විසඳුම් යෝජනා සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා විය. මෙම අවස්ථාව සිවිල් සංවිධාන නියෝජනය කරමින් ඩා බිඳු සංවිධානය, ශ්‍රී විමුක්ති ධීවර කාන්තා සංවිධානය, ඉඩම් හා කෘෂිකර්ම ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ ව්‍යාපාරය, රයිට් ටු ලයිෆ් ආයතනය, ජනවබෝධ කේන්ද්‍රය සහ සවිස්ත්‍රි කාන්තා සංවිධානය ආදී සංවිධාන මෙම අවස්ථාවට සම්බන්ධ වූහ. වැඩසටහන සම්බන්ධිකාරක ඇන්තනී ජේසුදාසන් මහතාගේ මෙහෙයවීමෙන් ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ ජාතික කැඳවුම්කරු හර්මන් කුමාර මහතාගේ මඟපෙන්වීම මත මෙම වැඩසහන ක්‍රියාත්මක විය.
