Beruwala,Egodawanta St. Anna monthly meeting of Kalutara District Fisheries Solidarity Movement was held on 06 May 2023 with the participation of 08 members. In this meeting, the members were informed about the evaluation process to be carried out by the Btfw project. Also, there was a discussion about not being able to represent Kalutara district for the program held in Digana on 26th, 27th and 28th of April. Miss Damayanthi also shared her views on the process of providing dry food and the distribution of herb plants. Opinions were presented here regarding the plastic crisis that has arisen in Kalutara, Beruwala and Payagala areas. It was mentioned here that the plastic crisis has already become a big problem in that area. It was mentioned here that the overflowing water of the Egodawatta Canal during the rainy season has created difficulties for daily traffic.
කළුතර දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ බේරුවල එගොඩවන්ත සාන්ත ආනා මාසික රැස්වීම රැස්වීම 2023 මැයි මස 06 වන ඉරුදින සාමාජිකාවන් 08 සහභාගිත්වයෙන් පැවැත්වූහ. මෙම රැස්වීමේදී ඊඑfඅ ව්‍යාපෘතිය මඟින් සිදු කරන්නට නියමිත ඇගයීම් ක්‍රියාවලිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාමාජිකාවන් දැනුවත් කරන ලදී. එමෙන්ම, අප්‍රියෙල් මස 26, 27 සහ 28 දිනවල දිගන පැවැත්වු වැඩසටහන සඳහා කළුතර දිස්ත්‍රික්කය නියෝජනය කරමින් පැමිණීමට නොහැකි වීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි සාකච්ඡා විය. වියළි ආහාර ලබා දීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් ද ඔසු පැළ බෙදා දීම පිළිබඳව ද මෙහිදි දමයන්ති මෙනවිය අදහස් බෙදා ගන්නා ලදී. කළුතර, බේරුවල, පයාගල ප්‍රදේශයේ උද්ගත වී ඇති ප්ලාස්ටික් අර්බුදය සම්බන්ධයෙන් මෙහිදි අදහස් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලදී. ප්ලාස්ටික් අර්බුදය දැනටමත් එම ප්‍රදේශයට විශාල ගැටලුවක් වී ඇති බව මෙහිදි සඳහන් කරන ලදී. වර්ෂා කාලවලදී එගොඩවත්ත ඇලේ ජලය පිටාර ගැලීමෙන් දෛනික ගමනාගමනයට දුෂ්කරතා මතු ඇති බව මෙහිදි සඳහන් කරන ලදී.
