Handing over the ILO convention to the government officers

Ratification and making policies and programs to ensure social security of fish workers based on “Safety at Sea” ILO fishing convention (C-188) is an important intervention to attend by authorities. NAFSO advocate to ratify the convention with relevant authorities. DIFSO Ampara met the chair person and other local government authority members (18) at Thirukkovol Pradesheeya Sabha Office and hand over the documents related to ILO convention.
