Killinochchi in order to uplift the livelihood of women of marginalized families living in the Killinochchi district Women's Division of the National Fisheries Solidarity Movement implemented a project under the Mission Inclusion project. The project covers 05 villages namely Anbupuram, Pallikuda, Naramatha, Valaiipadu and Nachikuda.
The primary objective of this program is to uplift the livelihood of housewives by encouraging women to become self-employed. Accordingly, on Wednesday, January 24, 2023, the current situation of the women who were helped to improve their livelihoods through the above project was monitored and evaluated in five villages of Kilinochchi district.
The fisheries industry, rearing of goats and chickens under animal husbandry and spice production are done in villages. Some members earn about Rs 40000 per month from spice production. The income from this is divided among ten groups and they keep one part as group savings.
A set of nets were provided under the project to a disabled woman engaged in the fishing industry, whose father is engaged in fishing due to her disability. Although he is old age, he earns Rs.72900/ from the fishing industry.
For this monitoring and evaluation process, Ms. Lavina Hasanti, Coordinator of the Women's Division of the NAFSO, Mr. Anthony Jesudasan, Coordinator of People-to-People Dialogue for Peace and Sustainable Development, Ms. Melanie Manel, Journalist, Mr. Sadeeswaram, Coordinator of Kilinochchi District, and activists Mr. Amalajeevani and Mr. Jayarani participated in this monitoring and evaluation process.
It is with great pleasure to mention that under the Mission Inclusion project, the people of five villages in the Kilinochchi district have improved their livelihood and even saved some money.

ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාන්තා අංශය විසින් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන Mission Inclusion ව්‍යාපෘතියය යටතේ කිලිනොච්චිය දිස්ත්‍රික් ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ අන්බුපුරම්, පල්ලිකුඩා, ඉරණමාතා, වලෛයිපාඩු සහ නාච්කුඩා යන ගම්මාන 05 ක් ආවරණය කරමින් ගෘහමූලික කාන්තාවන්ගේ ජීවන මාර්ග නගා සිටුවීම සඳහා මැදිහත්වීම් සිදු කරන ලදී. කාන්තාවන්ට ස්වයං රැකියා සඳහා අත හිත දෙමින් ගෘහමූලික කාන්තාවන්ගේ ජීවන මාර්ගය නගා සිටුවීම මෙහි මූලික අරමුණ වේ. ඒ අනුව 2023 ජනවාරි මස 24 වන බදාදා දින ඉහත ව්‍යාපෘතිය තුළින් ස්වකීය ජිවන මාර්ග නගා සිටුවීමට උදව් උපකාර ලබා දුන් කාන්තාවන්ගේ වත්මන් තත්ත්වය අධීක්‍ෂණයට හා ඇගයීමට ලක් කිරීම කිලිනොච්චි දිස්ක්‍රික්කයේ ගම්මාන පහක කේන්ද්‍ර කර ගනිමින් සිදු විය. ධීවර කර්මාන්තය, සත්ත්ව පාලනය යටතේ එළුවන් හා කුකුළන් ඇති කිරීම, ගම්මාන වශයෙන් කණ්ඩායම් පහක් තුන පහ සහ පෝෂණ පිටි නිෂ්පාදනය සිදු කරනු ලබති. විශේෂයෙන් සඳහන් කළ යුතු කරුණක් වන්නේ තුන පහ කුඩු නිෂ්පාදනයෙන් මසකට රුපියල් 40000/ආදායමක් උපයනු ල
බයි. මෙයින් එන ආදායම කණ්ඩායම් දහයක් වෙත බෙදෙන අතර එක් පංගුවක් ඔවුන් ඉතිරි කිරීම් සඳහා තබා ගනිති.

ධීවර කර්මාන්තයේ යෙදෙන ආබාධිත කාන්තාවක් වෙත මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ දැල් කට්ටලයක් ලබා දුන් අතර ඇය ආබාධිත වීම හේතුවෙන් ඇයගේ පියා ධීවර රැකියාවේ නිරත වේ. ඔහු මහලු වයසේ පසු වුවත් ධීවර කර්මාන්තයෙන් රුපියල් 72900/ ආදායමක් ලබයි. මෙම අධීක්‍ෂණ හා ඇගයීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය සඳහා ජාතික ධීවර සහයෝගිතා ව්‍යාපාරයේ කාන්තා අංශයේ සම්බන්ධිකාරිනි ලවීනා හසන්ති මහත්මිය සාමය හා තිරසර සංවර්ධනය සඳහා වු ජනතා අතර සංවාදයේ සම්බන්ධිකාරක ඇන්තනී ජේසුදාසන් මහතා ද මාධ්‍යවේදී මෙලනි මානෙල් මෙනවිය ද කිලිනොච්චි දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ සම්බන්ධිකාරක සදීෂ්වරම් මහතා ද සජිවිකාවන් වන අමලජීවනී සහ ජයරානි යන මහත්මීන් සහභාගි වූහ. ඵසිසදබ ෂබජකමිසදබ ව්‍යාපෘතියය යටතේ කිලිනොච්චිය දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ගම්මාන පහක ජනතාව ස්වකීය ජීවන මාර්ගය වැඩි දියුණු කර ගනිමින් ඉතිරි කිරීමට පවා යොමුව ඇති බව සඳහන් කරන්නේ ඉමහත් සතුටකිනි.
